Good morning my style lovers! I feel like a major trendsetter right now with today’s post lol can you believe I have owned this dress for about 4 years from my last trip to the UK, and I actually did this shoot last year August but I didn’t have enough confidence about the print and so I purposely didn’t get round to posting it. This post has proven to me once again to always listen to my gut feeling and to always trust it, and just ahead with it regardless of what trend is in, this means another lesson learned from this.
So last week was New York fashion week, and even though I wasn’t able to attend just yet, however, it felt so real like I was literally in the streets. I truly enjoyed all the impeccable fashion on the runway, by designers and celebrities alike through the eyes of bloggers and fashion enthusiasts.
Thank goodness for social media, it felt like I literally didn’t miss all the glitz and glamour on the runway, and one of the major trends for this year’s upcoming fall/winter season is animal prints, both snakeskin, and leopard to be precise reigned side by side and both prints were widely styled in different variations like in pants, dresses, shoes, and accessories on and off the runways to the street of New York.
Thankfully the leopard prints were more prominently styled, and I was low-key glad because personally, I prefer the leopard skin prints as I have a huge incurable phobia for creepy crawly things and snakes is a huge one I just cannot stand lol, and wearing the prints feels like I have a snake on my body literally, I know sounds weird I know but hey like i always say go for trends that go with your personal style and for me snake prints are not.
