living my best life….ready set starting now

I decided to do a separate post for day three of my Malta trip recap, as I mentioned in this post, it was my birthday on the third day. I made up my mind that I will absolutely have fun and make the best of the day and my trip as a whole. I shared live events on a daily basis on my Instagram page every day and this trip was no exception, as I shared literally every second, minute, hour and day of my trip lol 🙂

Let me start by saying “whatever you put your mind towards and work for it most definitely will come to pass” Coming into 2019, I knew I wanted some changes in my personal life as I shared here and here. I promised myself I will be more intentional with the crowd that I spend my time with in any way possible. Most of all I realized only I can make me happy, so I wanted to start on a journey of self-love.

I decided to direct my energy to take great care of myself, not only physically but emotionally, mentally, spiritually and my general well being. I want to be the best version of myself to be of use or need to my family. So I am doing this for both me and my family, especially my children. I want to take care of myself by making myself happy, but not to the detriment, wellbeing, and or hurting/getting in the way of my loved ones as my family’s happiness is the top priority for me.

One of my goals was to travel alone by myself without my family which, to be honest, I didn’t anticipate how hard it would be when the time came lol. My birthday March 31st, fell on Sunday this year which was the highlight of my trip and the reason I accepted the invite. Knowing the boat cruise was planned for Sunday which was on my birthday as part of the trip, made me happy that I would be doing something fun and exciting on my birthday.
