Happy start to the weekend lovelies, which is also known as Friday! So as the weather continues to get colder so will the need for layering pieces increase for warmth, as the Canadian weather is very brutal and that sure is no fun, so staying warm is a must for this season.
I find being creative with layering outfits during winter makes cold season looks and feel more fun for me and of course bonus point of looking ever so stylish not forgetting looking cool as my kids will say lol
I snagged this floral shirt at an amazing price during the Zara end of summer sale, if I remember clearly for I believe less than $20. So with this look, I decided to pair literally my most favorite jeans of all with layering this bright and bold shirt under this V-neck sweater which I also have in the plum color and styled here.
Added this coat from last winter for warmth and style, of course, while for accessories I kept it simple because the shirt has enough brightness to it.
Having said that I decided to add bold and chunky rings, and also black hoop earrings and matched this black wedge booties to finish off this weekend appropriate look. This look is great for brunch with friends, lunch with the husband and even a movie night, I hope you enjoy this post as much as I did working on it as well.
