5 styles of shorts needed in a modest closet under $150
Having said that, Since experiencing chicken pox as a child which left dark spots on my legs, this really bothered and even scared me emotionally and physically as it took away my confidence in wearing pieces above my knees for the longest time. Having said that, as a modest style enthusiast, there is absolute need to know how short our outfits should be, why because we are glorifying God through our outfits and Colossians 3:12 speaks of how God wants us to dress putting into consideration length appropriation as well.
I didn’t wear shorts for years until few years ago and when I did it was mainly in the four walls of my home. I didn’t feel comfortable enough even running errands or going to the nearest store for as little as a bag of milk in shorts. Thankfully my walk with the Holy Spirit has allowed me see my legs and myself as a whole in a different way just by changing my mind set and deciding to love myself more through embracing my flaws.
It’s so funny when I decided I’ll wear shorts mainly in the house, you can imagine how happy and angry at my realization that the dark spots has eventually faded without me knowing. While all this years I allowed it keep me from actually enjoying myself the way I deserve during the summertime
Hence one of my reasons for sharing this post is to encourage you to love yourself regardless of any type or kind of flaws you might be struggling with. Now for my modest ladies, I highly recommend high waist, mid thigh and knee length kind of shorts see this post for one of the styles I love but the style of shorts depends on your personal style.
