Slowing, I am beginning to incorporate the holiday colors into my looks one outfit at a time while trying not to scream out loud. Either by generating early excitement or even a bit of fear in some cases like spending on the gifts lol as this is one major reason for the holidays.
Mixing prints, textures and patterns are major this season, and I decided to venture into this by experimenting to also find what works best with my personal style as I can be rigid with changes sometimes God help me lol and please do not judge me.
With this look, I decided to style this turtleneck sweater also in this color with this pegged trousers with bird print design to it. The fabric feels amazing on my skin, so soft and silky I just couldn’t pass getting this pants plus it was on sale which was added bonus for me.
Styling this whole look around the color of the sweater which is more like an army green. pairing the scarf which is actually a poncho for that matter, and I love the bold color blocking, the fabric is more like a sweater, compared to most ponchos which are made of wool, and I must add it is so warm and comfortable around my body which is a must during this season.
Since I decided to style this look around the color of the sweater, it only makes sense that I just have to pair green shoes as well. I added my tan colored jacket to neutralize all the mix of colors and textures and finished off with a black handbag.
